Ateneo not only produces eloquent speakers, critical thinkers, and masterful innovators, they also form responsible leaders and followers alike who are for the service of the country and community. The Ignatian education sees to it that one’s formation is not solely centered on the enhancement of the mind, but more so on the enrichment of the heart. Here, excellence stems more from character than intelligence.
The vibrant flora and fauna in campus makes it conducive for learning, and even for self-reflection. The different student-led organizations create multiple avenues for students to hone their skills, practice new crafts, and amplify their advocacies, alongside building lasting friendships. Indeed, these make Ateneo feel like home.
As a scholar, I never felt alienated nor excluded in Ateneo. The community is kind, warm, and welcoming.
