Historic and respected institute of Karachi, wide range of program, low cost, research potential,
Most people like Karachi University because of its academic value and the recognition of its degree. However, many are unhappy with the management and the lack of modern facilities. Overall, people appreciate it academically but are disappointed with its administration.
My university life was like a I am in a Skill based University that nurtured me in various practical fields:
Team Management, Problem solving, Taking initiative, Public Speaking.
Faculty was very cooperative, only administrative staff some time very rude and stiff.
Now I am a Campus Manager in another University that provides online education not only recognized in Pakistan but also in European countries as well.
Whatever I am today is because of faculty I had been bestowed with. So my piece of advice is to make most of your university days and you will be successful in the real corporate world.
Obviously, this is not just a state-level university, but a platform dedicated to preparing students to face global challenges with confidence and competence. With highly qualified faculty, experienced mentors, and modern teaching methodologies, the university ensures that students are not only equipped with academic excellence but also the critical thinking, adaptability, and leadership skills needed to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

The lack of infrastructure and adaption to technology is one of the hindrance. However due to affordable tuition fee it is still a preferred choice for many.
View moreI enjoyed my time during masters at the University of Karachi as I had the chance to meet some amazing people and learn from the best teachers but I would like to point out that Mass Communication department is quite outdated in terms of facilities. The building is in a bad condition and the teaching method and the curriculum is outdated.
However, I did get the opportunity to study under some prominent people in the journalism field in Karachi which I enjoyed the most.
