Having completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from NED University back in 2008, I can reflect upon my experiences with appreciation and a touch of constructive feedback. NED University was, without a doubt, a crucial stepping stone in my educational journey.
The university was undeniably helpful and engaging, providing a strong foundation in the field of computer science. However, it wasn’t without its limitations. While we were taught all the essential principles and theories of computer science, there was a noticeable gap in practical applications. In retrospect, I believe that emphasizing practical skills should have been a top priority.
On the plus side, NED University did offer reasonably good facilities. The canteen and common rooms were well-maintained spaces where students could unwind and socialize. However, it’s worth noting that there was room for improvement when it came to sports facilities, particularly in providing more opportunities for both male and female students to participate in sports activities.
One aspect where NED University fell short was in the availability of extracurricular activities. Limited resources posed a significant challenge in this regard. Expanding extracurricular offerings would not only have enriched our overall university experience but also encouraged a more holistic development of students.
Despite these observations, my overall impression of NED University remains positive. The professors were cooperative, always willing to support and guide us in our academic pursuits. Their dedication to our education was evident and played a crucial role in our learning journey.
In conclusion, NED University provided a solid educational foundation in computer science. While there were areas for improvement, the university’s commitment to nurturing future professionals in the field was commendable. It’s an institution that leaves a lasting impression, and I am grateful for the knowledge and skills I acquired during my time there.
