Fatima Jinnah Women’s University is a public university. I have done my Bachelor’s from FJWU. I’m a social sciences student specifically Anthropology. The past four years have had an immense impact on my personality. Choosing the discipline of Anthropology has empowered me to explore the immense human diversity allowing me to look at the world from a different perspective. The faculty in the department especially Head of Department Dr Muhammad Bilal has played a vital role in cultivating anthropological curiosity. The environment at FJWU is suitable for the students and I strongly recommend this university. This university is ranked 608 in the world ranking and it follows all the international standards as well. However, there is always an area for improvement and in my opinion, the university should encourage students to do self-assessment more. Moreover, I’m confident that there is huge scope to work in local communities helping to solve various socio-cultural problems not limited to radicalization, illiteracy, poor health, and environmental degradation as well as working for the tech companies, business firms, think tanks, museums and national parks. I feel that my outlook on life has taken a different meaning through this valuable experience of studying Anthropology at FJWU.
