As far as the academics are concerned I think the university is doing a good job teaching relevant courses, such as communication skills and Academic writing. However, one area that needs improvement is that they need to keep updating the course material after every six months so that the students are not left behind anything.
If talk about the student/ campus lfe than people have mixed views. However a majority of students believ that the university should have more events like its other competitors.
Overall, the course load was manageable but there was a clear lack of balance between the institutions’ focus on grades/courses as compared to extracurriculars that would help students network.
The instructors are professional for the most part, you might find one or two instructors initially during your first semester that aren’t as great as you’d hope but overall it’s fine. Their career management team is one of the best in the country. You really have a great chance of finding work after you graduate.
View moreLahore School of Economics is one of the top business institutions in Pakistan where you can polish your inner skills and give them a deeper thought. Currently, I am a student at LSE and I’ve gained a lot from this institution. It offers a wide range of courses according to the interests of students. Not only this it also provides them with platforms where you can present your own business ideas such as business fiestas and SME exhibitions. honestly speaking it truly takes out the marketer in you by enhancing your skills. Campus life is a little bit boring, no late-night events. Apart from studies we also do have free slots, in which we have free time for activities such as sports, lunch or hanging out with friends. There is some strictness but also a balance between studies and entertainment. But you have to meet the deadlines on time, no compromise on that.
View moreA very poorly managed university with the worst admin staff ever. Not cooperative at all, they think as if students are robots and machines who will work 24/7 on the tonnes of assignments and project provided. Some teachers are really arrogant and full of attitude, they don’t even respect the students and just ORDER all the time. I would suggest others to never opt for LSE and make your life easy by going somewhere else.
View moreExtremely autocratic system, there is no student union and admin including faculty members just dont care about students. Even in this pandemic situation they are putting too much burden on student body and are not promoting us while other universities across the globe have done it. All they want from their students is to cram the entire book and slides and there is no learning.
