Honestly, I would rate my field at my university as good, but with clear room for improvement. The strength lies in the knowledgeable faculty and the strong theoretical base we get, which has helped me build a solid understanding of core concepts. However, I feel that practical exposure and research opportunities could be expanded further. More workshops, internships, and hands-on experiences would make the program stronger and prepare us better for real-world challenges. Overall, it’s a good field, but there is space to grow.”
View moreStudying psychology at the University of Lahore has been such a valuable experience for me. I’ve learned not just from books, but also through practical exposure and guidance from some really supportive teachers. The environment pushes you to grow, think critically, and connect theory with real-life applications. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has definitely been worth it for both my academic and personal growth.
View moreIt used to be so much better with different activities that are banned now.. guards are ill mannered.
Main concerns are:
We are drenched in sweat all day because they’ve stopped turning on ACs for students, even in cafes. The whole day we are sweating.
If there are 4 lifts they turn only 2 on which take you to specific floors ultimately keep us waiting.
Fines are unfairly charged, without any reason you’ll get fined at the end of semester and that too a lot
Parking registration is a nightmare etc etc etc
OSA management is arrogant.. no one to listen to our issues
Overall making our experience so bad now.
I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Computer Science at the University of Lahore (UOL), and I must say, it’s been an incredible journey so far! From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I knew I was in for a treat. The vibrant atmosphere, state-of-the-art facilities, and friendly faculty members made me feel right at home.
The Computer Science department at UOL is top-notch, with experienced professors who are always willing to lend a helping hand. The curriculum is well-structured, covering a wide range of topics that prepare us for the industry. I’ve had the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with talented peers, and learn from guest lectures by industry experts.
Of course, no university is perfect, and there are areas where UOL can improve. But overall, I’m thoroughly enjoying my time here, and I’m confident that the skills and knowledge I gain will serve me well in my future endeavors.
If you’re considering UOL for your academic pursuits, I say go for it! You won’t regret it.
View moreOverall the university is good at accommodating staff, and faculty. I recommend that students who wish to excel in medicine apply here as the university has an attached teaching hospital! however, I would not recommend this university to candidates who are looking to graduate in CS or engineering related fields as they are better universities like NUST,FAST,NED in these majors.
