I am a former UoK student and my experience has been nothing but positive, especially concerning my background. I was part of the Department of Microbiology, which has the most professionally credited faculty. They were extremely professional, well-trained, and supportive. I still keep in touch with a few of my professors. We had exceptional training and practical experiences. The only concern sometimes was the lack of funds regarding laboratory materials but our professors through their connections would always manage to deliver hands-on practical experience in third-party labs and organizations. The university boasts a wide variety of majors to choose from and its qualifications are internationally well-renowned The greatest advantage of this university is its affordability. I managed to cover my tuition fee and transport costs by working part-time. The university offers a great campus life which was the highlight of my time there. The campus is a small city and needs more than a few days to be fully explored. it is equipped with a central library, gymnasium, and cafeteria. It also boasts many amazing smaller canteens with an excellent variety of food that is highly affordable. Many students from other universities would specifically come to UoK to explore the food scene which it is well known for. The university also hosts many events both recreational and educational for its students, including the annual book fair, student week, and many more. It also has many student clubs such as the sports society, debate and chess club, and even an inclusive students’s society for differently-abled individuals. Overall I would recommend it.
