IBA has an outstanding reputation due to its vast alumnus network and backing and hence, students do get more if not better opportunities by studying here. Although the faculty is renowned, but in my experience it’s mostly self study and the curriculum is similar to other universities. So if the reason someone is applying is they will learn better or different than others it is not true.

It’s a very good university. Infrastructure is great and the job market is very good. They easily get hired into good organizations. They do need to work on their administration and faculty. Other than these two issues, it’s a great alma mater.

Positives
– Access to various need/merit scholarships.
– Opportunities to go abroad via exchange programs.
– Co-curricular and sports.

Things that need improvement:
– Eliminating the gap between academia and corporate life.
– More focus on work experience and practical knowledge.
– Career counseling
– Interaction between alumni and current students to benefit from alumni network.
– Reduce favouritism and involvement of faculty in student societies.
– Reduce student to teacher ratio
– Better enrollment system is needed

Iba is one of the oldest and most prestigious business universities in pakistan. One of its biggest benefits is the strong alumni network which helps enrolled students in creating strong connections in the job market.
