ABSU is a good school in terms of academics, but apart from that it teaches one life. I would say it groomed me beyond academics; I learnt socialization, time consciousness and management and some other stuff.

Challenges
– *Power Outages*: ABSU has struggled with power challenges, but Governor Alex Otti has approved the establishment of an independent power project to generate at least 10 megawatts of electricity, benefiting both the university and the Uturu community.
– *Infrastructure and Resources*: While specific details are limited, universities in Nigeria often face infrastructure and resource challenges.

Triumphs
– *Academic Excellence*: ABSU’s Faculty of Physical Sciences and Public Health won the prestigious All About Public Health Award Night, showcasing excellence in research and community outreach.
– *Research and Community Outreach*: The university’s impactful initiatives have been recognized, highlighting its commitment to addressing public health challenges.
– *Cultural Preservation*: ABSU is located in a region rich in cultural heritage, with initiatives like the pharmaculture (which was held on the 15/05/2025 by the faculty of pharmacy) ,promoting traditional culture and values.

Overall, ABSU has demonstrated resilience and a commitment to academic excellence, research, and community engagement despite facing challenges.
