I got admitted for a 5 year Bachelor of Engineering program. I ended up spending 7 years in school because it’s staff union went on several strikes. It’s pathetic that the school as well as other Nigerian public universities do not get funding from the government, forcing it’s staff unions to embark on multiple strikes. The longest one lastest 10 months.

The facilities are not adequate and the population per class/lecturer is too high. The social life is good, although there are not enough dorms on campus. You’ll have rent an apartment outside school.
