Unlike other public schools with slow academic calendars for their graduate programmes, the University of Port Harcourt has a fast calendar which most graduate students find impressive. UNIPORT is located in a peaceful community in Rivers State. My concern with this state lies in the health risk posed by the black soot occurrence. This soot has been attributed majorly to the activities of illegal refiners.
