Strong reputation – It’s one of Nigeria’s most respected universities, so graduating from UNILAG carries weight.
Vibrant campus life – Always buzzing with activities, events, and opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds.
Location – Being in Lagos gives students access to internships, jobs, and networking in the country’s business hub.
Quality lecturers in certain faculties – Especially in Law, Engineering, and Business, where some lecturers are industry experts.

What I dislike:
Overcrowding – Too many students for the available facilities, making lectures and accommodation sometimes uncomfortable.
Bureaucracy – Administrative processes can be slow and stressful (e.g., course registration, transcript requests).
Infrastructure gaps – Some lecture halls and hostels need renovation and better maintenance.
Frequent disruptions – Strikes or internal issues sometimes interrupt the academic calendar.
Recommendations:
1. Invest more in infrastructure — better classrooms, hostels, and labs.
2. Digitize and simplify administrative processes to reduce stress.
3. Recruit more lecturers to reduce student–lecturer ratio.
4. Strengthen student support services like career guidance and mental health support.
