Unilag is often described as the closest to schooling in the United States, and without a doubt, Unilag can be described as the Harvard of Nigeria. The quality of graduates produced by this University speaks of her excellence, with numerous alumni leading the political, economic, and technological space of the Nigeria.

Unilag is a university that embraces balance between academic life and social life. Outside academics, Unilag exposes her students to various social activities that provide opportunities for students to showcase their talent and creativity. This is the reason why many top stars in the Nigerian music and film industry are alumni of the great institution.

Unilag is the perfect institution for athletes, the structure and resources available at the institution’s sport center show her commitment to sport related activities. Recently, the school hosted the Nuga games (Nigerian University Games Association) and the Fasu games (Federation of African University Sports), which is a testament of the Institution’s capacity in sport related activities.
