Decent Start, but Could Be Better

strike. The online classes are generally good, though sometimes chaotic due to bad internet connections from lecturers and students who forget to mute their mics, making the audio messy.

The lectures themselves are okay—the lecturers do their job well sha. My first biology lecturer was the most consistent, always showing up and delivering lessons properly. By the third week, we had finally started having regular lectures for most of our courses, but now, three months in, we still haven’t done any practicals for biology, chemistry, physics, or zoology.

I expected a different experience because I never imagined my first year of university would be online. Nothing has really stood out so far, but I absolutely loved the orientation we had! It was organized by the Faculty of Science, and pre-med students like me could also attend. It was such a fun and exciting experience, filled with interesting people and great energy.

I’m really looking forward to in-person classes because I feel they’ll be more effective for learning and will also allow for more social interaction.
