If you’re looking for a Nigerian school you can go to and compete successfully with peers on an international level, UI is the school for you, but I must warn you: UI is stressful. Everything about it from the first day I registered till my final year project was a big indicator that stress is their modus operandi. The protocol is excessive for simple tasks and archaic, inefficient methods of record-keeping are used. The facilities aren’t so bad overall tho, and the lecturers are usually well qualified. There are even a couple of good lecturers that actually care about student wellbeing. But all in all, most of my good memories from there are the people I met. Social life in Ibadan is quite nice compared to other parts of the South outside Lagos.
