at University of Calabar - UNICAL

University of Calabar is a great citadel of learning that is passionate about the competence and character of her graduates and undergraduates in the real world. When the wind of average performances blow, university of Calabar is always reading to resist thereby foregrounding her students to be well rooted in the various field of study. I only dislike my University for a reason akin to all Nigerian Universities, STRIKE!!
For the past 20 years, there have always been dissent between the Nigerian government and the academic staff union over a memorandum of understanding. Students have always been the collateral damage and the negative effect of this is evident in our studies and academic calendar. An average Nigerian student stays longer than the year of his programme.
Though the educational system of our country Nigeria is in shambles, you have to keep your head above the water if you don’t want to get drown in anomalies of the system but yet, I will recommend my University for anyone. it is a place of resilience and positive character formation.
