I have mixed feelings about UNIBEN. I love and hate it at the same time, but I guess the love wins out. One thing that’s certain is that UNIBEN is all about tough love. The lecturers, especially in my department, push you to think creatively. They don’t just want straightforward answers, which is great, but also kinda frustrating.
The exams, though… That’s a whole different story. They teach you gently in class, but the exam questions? Not so gentle. It’s like they’re speaking a different language. But, at the end of it all, after writing that paper, you just feel happy with yourself because you know you’ve been tested and you’re doing right. There’s this sense of pride that comes with it.
Hostel life is another adventure altogether. You meet all sorts of people, and it’s crazy, but fun. From rushing for water in the morning to queuing up for the bathroom, it’s a unique experience.
Overall, UNIBEN is a fast-paced place that keeps you on your toes. You’ve got to stay alert to keep up. It’s not always easy, but it’s definitely worth it.
