The university of Port Harcourt is an institution poised to education students not only academically but in character. Its organization is top notch as it applies proper management by objective principle.
it is therefore on the student to be dedicated to learning.
As much as there are good advantages , there are also disadvantages. Sometimes lecturers and students relationship gets strained and this affects learning.
However, this is seldomly managed by school authority.
campus life can be infectious and if a student is not properly cultured, can deviate from studies as his or her main purpose.
Classes are always fun with the right mindset, purpose is archived.

My opinion about university…. first off i don’t regret entering university. It has been an amazing experience. At the same time that it has been stressful, the whole school work and trying to bag my A’s i have loved every moment in school. It has opened my eyes to learn new things and I’ve come across so many people with different backgrounds,mentalities and strengths. I’ve also learned different things like how to balance life. Keeping up with schoolwork and still being social and making a few bucks here and there and achieveing my life goals. It’s a great push to the outside world really and i feel this this is a necessary experience. What has stood out for mw is the campus life really and the people. I’ve been so used to just doing my things alone and staying quiet but here… my eyes opened up to a lot of things and my views changed in terms of life and friendship. I’m really happy here

I like the quality of Education and the availability of experienced lecturers who provided me with practical and theoretical knowledge especially as a student in the arts and humanities faculty.
the university also attracted and accepted student from various tribes and culture without discrimination. The campus life was also a plus with lots of extracurricular activities.

What i disliked about the university were infrastructural challenge,there were some outdated facilities that made learning and going to classes harder than usual,and there was also the issue of administrative delay such as school registration or exam result coming out late which impacted my academic journey.
But even with all this, i still recommend the university of port harcourt especially for students looking for diverse educational experience and solid academic foundation, however you should be prepared for some challenge.

Their programs are really engaging and impactful.
