I would honestly say studying Polymer Engineering in this school wasn’t the best of experience in my opinion. Classes are scheduled anytime and anywhere, school Examinations were marked strictly even with little resources provided by the school. Also the engineering practicals aspect was a 2/10 overall

I was privileged to study chemistry (industrial) at this prestigious university, my study experience wasn’t that much all fun and cozy because I was focused on the reason for my being in School and I knew how tough it was for me getting admitted, so I had to learn at all costs.
My campus lifestyle was a mix of study, fellowship and a bit of hustling to pay necessary fees required for obtaining a decree in FUTO.

View moreGetting into the university, I had the mindset of learning and being kept on my toes to study and learn more but I will honestly say that getting into the university has only made me dissatisfied with the operation of the school system. I am someone that believes in more practical than theory but conducting practical in my school has been discouraging because of the low-capacity laboratory and the fact that the labs are always congested and force some students to wait outside while other students to perform the practical and give readings to those outside to copy and submit report without actually doing the practical which is not encouraging for the students to actually learn and practicalize what they are being taught in class and this makes the learning process poorly done because students like me learn faster and better when we are actually seeing what we are being taught and actually perform practical that are involved.
Furthermore, the negligence of some lecturers to the lecturing process only encourages the students not to come to class as they will see it as a total waste of their time and to some extent this makes students to lose interest in what they actually came to school to do, which is to learn.
