What I Love About FUTO
FUTO’s strengths: academic excellence, cutting-edge research facilities, and a vibrant community.
However, areas for improvement include:
– Enhancing security measures to ensure student safety
– Streamlining academic processes to reduce delays in result release
– Reviewing fee payment structures to alleviate financial burdens on students”
Well, it is a university that has strong engineering background, but needs to improve or increase the industrial application of studies.
I dislike the fact that being a school of engineering and technology, students do not get exposed to industrial environment to have a practical knowledge of what they learn. Practical aspect of learning is very weak and most cases, are missing. In addition, the school is very slow in making technological advancement. For instance, it is expected at this stage that most operations of the school will be online and automated, but unluckily the school still basically does paper works and recordings. Some lecturers in the school are not serious with work. They miss their lesson periods most times.
I like the hyper-level seriousness of the students in the university. The students are highly committed to lectures and studies and their high performances show evidence.
I will recommend that the school invest in digital development and also make a policy of exposing students to industries for practical knowledge and skill acquisition.
