The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta is a great citadel of learning where students are able to maximize their academic potentials and turn into upstanding citizens with great real-world value; the school as most schools need improvements in certain areas especially lecture theaters and for me being a sport person the school needs to pay more attention to other talents and not just academic prowess.
Overall, FUNAAB is a Universtiy worthy of the name.

It’s in summary, fun and educative.
There are categories of activities that prepares a person for reality and progressive agendas.
Being exposed to the political sector really prepare further leaders, those of experience and track records

Life in FUNAAB is very sweet if you are not studying Mathematics and Statistics. Hustling and Juggling between classes, Lecturers coming to class and teaching while majority of students barely understands or are found doing something else. Examination comes, students running helter skelter trying to revive what’s almost dead. Results get released, Lecturers have the last laugh while few students laugh last.

During my time at The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, I gained valuable experience that has significantly shaped my professional career. As a Master student, I was immersed in an environment that fostered a deep understanding of sciences. The curriculum was rigorous, with a strong emphasis on research and practical application, which allowed me to develop essential skills in problem-solving and analytical thinking.

One of the most enriching aspects of my experience was the exposure to various research methodologies and the use of statistical tools for data-driven decision-making. This experience laid the groundwork for my proficiency in working with relational databases and data processing tools, which later became integral to my career as a data
analyst.

The university’s emphasis on academic excellence and real-world application also encouraged me to explore various opportunities beyond the classroom, including internships and collaborative research projects. This hands-on experience not only enhanced my technical abilities but also taught me the importance of teamwork and effective communication in achieving project goals.

Overall, my time at The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, was a critical period of learning and professional growth, equipping me with the foundational knowledge and skills that continue to drive my success in data analysis and consulting today.

I love the fact that this university is built in a remote area – free from the hustle and bustle of the city lol. It has a serene environment with natural atmosphere from trees unlike the city.
I also like the way each curriculum is tailored to suit each of it’s student’s needs. The student residence is also nice. It’s like home away from home.
The thing I dislike about it is the way the health workers behave. The school ‘s health centre is currently short-staffed so I think it’s the pressure on them that makes them act nonchalant to student’s health. I definitely recommend but my advise is treat yourself properly before coming here..
