My experience at Babcock University was very rewarding. The academic environment was rigorous and supportive, and it helped me build a strong foundation in Computer Science. Beyond academics, I gained leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through projects and club activities, which have prepared me well for professional growth.
View moreIn my opinion, its a good institution to learn well and acquire the necessary knowledge needed and a safe space for everyone willing to learn. The professors and lecturer are so focused and
dedicated to give their best to the students. The classes are clean and conducive which makes learning easier.
Attending this university was a mixed experience for me, but the people I met there truly made it worthwhile. The university had a myriad of rules, many of which seemed unnecessary and overly restrictive, making the overall environment somewhat stifling. Additionally, the school system was notoriously slow, often leading to stress and burnout among students.
However, amidst these challenges, I found solace in the community. The friends I made and the supportive people I encountered helped me navigate through the difficult times, making the journey much more bearable and even enjoyable. Some of the lecturers stood out with their teaching methods, providing quality education and engaging lessons that kept me motivated.
In the end, while in the midst of rigid regulations were significant drawbacks, the relationships I built and the positive influences from certain lecturers made my university experience memorable. It was the people, more than the institution itself, that left a lasting impression on me.
View moreI like a whole lot about my program at Babcock University as the lecturers try to teach to the understanding of the students. Lecturers pray for and with the students plus they take their job seriously which makes them not miss classes without cogent reasons and they are also not late.
We also have practical classes which help us to work beyond just writing on paper but also knowing how the job is done and getting it done in the right way.
I had a wonderful experience studying Computer Science, the lecturers were nice and willing to help me understand, the school environment is peaceful, and the school helps in improving your spiritual life.
View moreThe school is pretty and the ambience is great but a big mess. I finished last year, I cannot go for NYSC because of one issue or the other that is not my fault. I had community service because there were not enough hostel accommodation that year so I had to stay with a friend and they still failed me after explaining it was all their fault. They admit more students than they have space for. They focus on values or than education but don’t do well on both fronts. There is the issue of ‘upload of result’, if you ever have that issue, just start to cry. It starts up to a whole semester for a result to be uploaded. It is 2022. You can make it seamless and automated. Parents pay millions just to still come to school to chase people about to do their jobs. Your documents could be sitting on someone’s desk, you have to bring a parent for them to attend to you. Don’t get me started on the bribery of lecturers.
View moreBabcock University as a whole has a very high standard in the aspect of the grading system. As for my course which is computer science is quite competitive and demanding. In terms of lectures, I rate it a 6 out of 10.
