Academic pressure. Of course, I realize that we go to university to learn, and part of the learning process demands academic accountability through testing and project deadlines. Now, believe it or not, I was a responsible student who (mostly) tried to do my best work
NOUN cost so much
View moreI believe the Open University is a very good institution because it provides flexible learning opportunities for people who may not be able to attend a conventional university. I like that it allows students to study at their own pace and combine learning with work or other responsibilities. It has a very high standard of learning and zero-tolerance to malpractice .The online resources and study centres also make learning more convenient and accessible.
What I dislike, however, is that sometimes the distance-learning method can feel a bit isolating, and students may miss out on the face-to-face interaction that traditional universities offer. Internet challenges can also make online learning difficult at times.
Overall, I would recommend the Open University to anyone who values flexibility, independence, and lifelong learning. It’s a great option for those who are self-motivated and want to balance education with other aspects of life.
View moreI think the university is extremely good. I like that it’s very accessible and the admission process is not so long. Also one can decide to study online which is great cause for people with families and they have very good teachers. I really like it
View moreSatisfactory,i just applied and yet to start the process but i know it would be stressful but would be worth it and also I know the experience I’ll gain from the lectures through to interacting with course mates would do well
View moreThe National Open University of Nigeria offers a flexible learning model, with most coursework delivered online and some exams held physically. What makes NOUN unique is its network of State Headquarters across all 36 states, which provide local support and access to learning resources. Recently, new professors have joined the faculty, bringing fresh expertise and energy. The staff are approachable and committed to student success. While remote tools are effective, student support services could still be strengthened. Overall, NOUN is a solid choice for students seeking flexibility with nationwide access
