Yabatech is a good school – The lecturers are committed and have a passion for teaching. They are also subject matter experts. Our classes are properly scheduled giving ample breaks and study times in between.
We also have new buildings which have made the classes more conducive to learning especially with the use of audiovisual aids.
However, other facilities like our cafeteria, toilets, library, and extracurricular centers are not in great shape and need an upgrade.
There is generally a lack of maintenance culture of facilities failing to balance the teeming population of students with the adequate maintenance of facilities.
I also think the upward review of tuition which I understand is due to the lack of adequate government funding is a bit stiff.
I would recommend Yaba College of Technology for any Nigerian who wants to learn from a curriculum that combines both practical and theoretical applications in their STEM fields.
