Established in 1947, it’s actually the first higher institution in Nigeria, which is pretty impressive. Over the years, it has produced thousands of professionals across different fields, especially in engineering, technology, business, and the arts.
One thing that stands out about YABATECH is its emphasis on hands-on learning. It’s not just about theories; students get real-world experience that prepares them for jobs or even entrepreneurship. The school has well-equipped workshops, labs, and studios that help students develop practical skills, which is a big plus in today’s job market.
Another great thing is its location—being in Lagos, the heart of Nigeria’s economy, means students are exposed to a lot of opportunities. Internships, networking, and even job placements are easier to find compared to schools in other states.
