OOU is affordable but lacks basic amenities,if baasic amenities are in place it could compete with top state universities,
My Likes:
Affordable tuition fees
Strong programs (Medicine, Law, Engineering)
Serene Ayetoro campus (good for sciences)
Diverse student population
My Dislike:
No official hostels – Students rent privately (expensive/unsafe)
Poor infrastructure (dilapidated classrooms, power issues)
Frequent strikes
Olabisi Onabanjo University, (OOU) as we call it is a citadel of learning where leaders are raised for the global economy network.
One thing I like about it is that the level of discipline it sustained, top notch.
Yes, I would recommend it to others.
Getting to meet new people and friends each day, the versatility and experience of lecturers dishing out knowledge coupled with the serene environment are experiences I can hardly forget.
