The institution is one of the best, based on Nigeria’s educational atmosphere. But I think it focuses more on paper and pencil rather than building learners for a more practical world. Personally, I think this issue should be addressed.
I think the curriculum doesn’t suite or inculcate in learners the right or necessary knowledge and skills to face the real-life situations. Personally, I think diversion to more emphasis on vocational training and practical will go a long way in preparing learners cope in the society more proper.

The classes are not too notch but an average class settings. Lecturers are good but dont always make it to lectures. My most annoying experience was the continuous strike during my time added almost 2 years to course period of time.
This is a place where character and discipline is incolcated into students. Where staff serve students, by puring out all they know into students withholding nothing.
My classes stood out for me and the lecturers. I can’t advance in my discipline anywhere if not university of Jos. And it is my heart desire to to able to give back to the university for the investment they have done in my life. The story of my life is incomplete without the mentioning of university of Jos.
