As a veterinary medical student at the University of Ilorin, I appreciate the high standard of academic excellence and the quality of education provided. The program is rigorous, and the knowledge gained is valuable for anyone pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.
However, one challenge we face is the demanding schedule, with lectures running from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday. This can be exhausting and leaves limited time for rest or personal development. Additionally, there is room for improvement in terms of student support and communication. Concerns regarding well-being and student feedback often go unaddressed, making it difficult to voice challenges about the workload or other issues.
Despite these challenges, the education offered is top-notch, and I would still recommend the program to those committed to veterinary medicine. With more attention to student well-being, the overall experience could be even better.
