The University of Ilorin over the year is arguable to be a citadel of learning with excellent academic performance and discipline. It is noteworthy that is the one of best university in Nigeria that had produced academically sound graduates.
I love the school for academic excellence and discipline to uphold student’s academic integrity.
The university tends to favor Muslim applicants over Christian applicants in admissions and employment, which is discriminatory based on religion.
I can recommend the institution more often on multiple occasions.

University of Ilorin is fantastic. The lecturers and students have a really great bond. The building structures are very solid. There is a healthy balance between learning and social activities, personally speaking.

It widens my knowledge about everything around me it also enables me to communicate with strangers within and outside the country also enhances my knowledge about the political activities in other countries.

I like the period in which the school’s curricula was not affected by the incessant strike action of the Academic Staff University Union Association (ASUU). By then, you could be sure of your time of entry and graduation into the University. This singular factor led to the increasing acceptance of the university by the general public and made it a University of choice among applicants.

In recent history, however, the school is back to the mainstream Union activities and its strike actions have always affected the academic timetable. I wish the school will be back to that enviable time where its calendar and other activities are unaffected by the unending strike actions by the ASUU Union.
