University of Ilorin
speciality: Chemistry

University of Ilorin was the best choice to study Biochemistry. It was progressive and understanding. The only problem I have with the school is commuting. Students will be everywhere on school grounds and cars, buses will be unavailable to transport them out.

University of Ilorin is one of the best federal institution in Nigeria. They have a very fast school calendar that’s beneficial to both students and the school. The classes are conducive to an extent too.
For science courses that have to do with practicals, I think there’s a problem there. The practicals doesn’t really go well due to lack of materials, instruments and enough laboratory for the number of students admitted. Therefore, some courses that are meant to be practical are converted to theory which is not good enough for the students.

My program, industrial chemistry is a combination of chemistry with industries,what I really love about the course is the practical application involved in it and I don’t like the fact my set was more like an experimental set because my department was formerly joined with that of chemistry. I enjoyed my time during my stay in the school
