One of the things I love about University of Ibadan is her ability to maintain the excellence with which it’s known for. Being a premier university, the institution has been known as the best for years now and the standard has never decline.
Talking about the lecturing approach, the lecturers are top-notch, they do devote their own personal time to make sure we understand what we are being taught. A typical example is Prof James, a professor in the department of Veterinary Anatomy and so many others in Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry department.
In the area of assessment, the lecturers do give us continuous assessment that would make us to be always ready for upcoming ones. And they always tell us that as as Veterinary Doctor, we have to be always ready to save the life of our patients, various words of experience and motivations are always being dished out to us by this people.
In conclusion, the environment, atmosphere, infrastructure are also some of those fascinating things about the campus.

As a recent graduate of the University of Ibadan (UI), I am honored to provide a review of my alma mater, reflecting on my experiences and observations during my time at this esteemed institution.

UI holds a special place in the hearts of many as Nigeria’s premier university, renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and intellectual rigor. From its inception, UI has consistently upheld high standards of education, producing graduates who excel in various fields both nationally and internationally.

Academic Excellence:
UI’s academic programs are rigorous and comprehensive, providing students with a solid foundation in their chosen fields. The university boasts highly qualified faculty members who are experts in their respective disciplines, fostering a stimulating learning environment conducive to intellectual growth and exploration. The emphasis on research and innovation encourages students to think critically and creatively, preparing them for the challenges of the modern world.

Campus Environment:
UI’s sprawling campus is not only picturesque but also conducive to learning and personal development. The serene atmosphere, lush greenery, and architectural marvels create an inspiring setting for academic pursuits. The university’s well-equipped libraries, laboratories, and other facilities provide students with access to resources necessary for academic success.

Student Life:
Beyond academics, UI offers a vibrant campus life enriched by a diverse array of extracurricular activities, clubs, and societies. Challenges:
Despite its many strengths, UI faces certain challenges that warrant attention. Recommendation:
In conclusion, my experience at the University of Ibadan has been nothing short of transformative. In my opinion as a veterinary medicine student in the institution, the university of Ibadan is still the best in Nigeria for the course I am studying. The school is above average in terms of facilities required for the course and the lecturers are highly cerebral.
The campus environment is above average, very lively and secure for both students and lecturers living on campus.
The University of Ibadan teaches values and morals and their social life is also above average for those who are interested in social activities.
The University of Ibadan prioritize integrity over any other behaviours and is always fair in its judgement. The only issue with the school is its slow calendar due to strike actions by both academic and non-academic staff unions.

I had an awesome time at the University of Ibadan. The lecturers are very good and true experts in their fields. Facilities, though can be better, are adequate for students. In fact, the university has a principle of not admitting beyond its carrying capacity. I really had a good time.
