The hotel’s location within the university campus was convenient, and the security was top-notch. However, the facilities could use some renovation. The conference rooms and event center were nice, but the gym equipment was outdated.
Overall, my stay was okay, but there were too many little things that didn’t quite add up to a perfect experience. With some improvements in room maintenance and facility upgrades, this hotel could easily become a top choice for visitors to Ibadan. As it stands, I’d recommend it to those on a tight budget or with specific needs, but others might find better options elsewhere.

University of Ibadan is the first and best university ever created. It’s a school full of well informed lecturers and friendly students. The curriculum is well detailed and in line with the changing situations. What I love about the school is the curriculum that is well detailed. I definitely recommend the school because it gives students the opportunity to venture in other things

One of the top universities in the country, it consistently produces outstanding students year after year. The university offers an exceptional standard of education in a serene environment, enriched with abundant trees and vegetation. Its well-equipped libraries and laboratories create a conducive learning atmosphere.

So far, being a student of this premier University of Ibadan has been a wonderful experience. It is an institution that am always grateful to be a part of.
Studying Sociology has given me insights to so many things I never thought of. Starting from the society to human behavior. Am proud to be a Sociologist.

The University of Ibadan is situated in one of the largest city in Nigeria. The university campus has hostel facility for undergraduate and postgraduate students. It is a serene campus with good transportation system.
Both teaching and non-teaching staff are friendly and welcoming. The campus embraces diversity, equality and inclusion. There are worship centres for religious activities. Also, there is sport complex for athletes and for training.
In my department, the classrooms are conducive for learning. The faculty members are ready to impact knowledge and also help students when the need arises.

Sociology builds your capacity to see life from different perspectives which strengthens the intrapersonal skills that give flexibility to any path you choose. U.I delivers academically amongst most universities in Nigeria. In my opinion, the standard of academics is rapidly dropping because teachers give room for compromise in the name of “tag avoidance”. However, the supportive nature and accessibility of these staff is amazing. Ever willing to attend to student’s academic needs. Nevertheless, I opine that Nigerian universities should eliminate compromise and provide standard tutoring for their students. They really need to inculcate the pecks of competitiveness so Nigerians who school in the country can measure up on international grounds because it’s not there yet.
Being a student at the University of Ibadan gave me a whole new experience since my academic background was from a private institution. Life as a student was great. The environment was very serene with good facilities. It’s one of the best Nigeria has and it’s my top list for recommendations to other students. I had amazing teachers who are still great mentors in the academic world and as it relates to life generally. They have a way to push you to do more career-wise such as identifying students who are academically inclined, then there is the encouragement and subtle push to write papers and also attend conferences. They are nurturers, only if you want to be nurtured anyway. However, there is plenty of room to improve greatly, especially in building student capacity beyond just bagging a degree and owning a certificate.

Quality of teaching and impacting values into students. The number of students per time at a lecture theatre is perfect. Transportation within the campus is also well coordinated. We had a good relationship with lecturers too.

I did my post-graduate here and was quite impressed with a lecturer-student relationship, the method of teaching and exposure to professional opportunities in your field. The facilities are up to date, and the environment is conducive to learning.

The first and the best. UI is a very good institution, with the best lecturers. I enjoyed my stay there and I am proud to be an alumnus. There are well-read lecturers and industry first-class professors.
