The University of Ibadan (UI) is a very good university if only registration processes on campus could be done more electronically to reduce the level of stress students are subjected to during course registration. I like the quality of the teaching, the school environment, and the calendar if there are no strike actions.
Would I recommend it? Yes, for the quality of education (currently ranked the best university in Nigeria) and budget-friendly tuition. No, if you could get into another similarly good university with a more digitalised registration and verification process

I like the fact that the environment authomatically stimulates you to study and learn. However, I don’t like their gp system of 4.0. But i was eventually able to get a hang of the system and beat it.
I would definitely highly recommend the school because it’s environment is so serene and almost free of illegal acts, providing you with a sense of security while on campus.
View moreUI is a good school. It’s one of the best in the country though that comes with some challenges; a lot is expected from students, I guess to maintain their rank. Our curriculums are up to date. The Lectures are professors with vast experience in their field and many years of practice. A lot of them teach well though there are I few I still struggle with understanding their classes, you can’t get all the good ones right. Various extracurriculars are also available to participate in.
I guess the only thing I would suggest is that the management should do better in allowing students express themselves.
