As a final-year Biochemistry student, my journey so far has been a mix of academic rigor, personal growth, and hands-on learning. The programme provides a strong foundation in core areas such as molecular biology, enzymology, and metabolic processes. The lecturers are one of the major highlights — they are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely committed to student success. They explain complex concepts with clarity and are always willing to assist outside the classroom.

One of the aspects I’ve enjoyed the most is the laboratory work. Practical sessions have deepened my understanding of theoretical concepts and sparked a real interest in scientific research. These experiences have also improved my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I know will be valuable in the future.

Despite a few challenges, such as limited access to advanced laboratory equipment and occasional delays in practical sessions, the overall learning environment is encouraging and intellectually stimulating. The programme has pushed me to grow academically and has prepared me well for both further studies and career opportunities in the scientific field.

I would definitely recommend this programme to anyone passionate about science and looking to build a solid career in biochemistry or related disciplines.

Delsu is a great school. I had several life changing experiences during my stay. There were some ups and downs too. I especially loved the idea of having several lectures a day, it always gave the feeling of being a productive day, a diverse range of courses that offered me options to explore my interests. We have great campus facilities so learning was conducive but every new session was a reminder of huge costs I had to in-cure that year, this wasn’t fun. it was also far away from home and this made me miss my family a lot. Now I know its all part of the experience and I won’t have had it any other way because this has shaped me to be the woman I have become.
