It was a journey.. long, rough but am so happy I got to the destination and in time with out unnecessary stops..

I built a lot of social networks across the institution and am happy I met amazing people.

For me it was school passing through me and I excelled both in academics and social life. I participated in almost every positive and extra curriculum activities.

My Unical Experience was excellent.

University of Calabar,Cross river state Nigeria is a beautiful place to school. It has a wide range of students and courses to bag a degree in. I love the scenery and current infrastructure,new buildings and constant electricity in classrooms.
I do not like the fact that there is no transportation to my Faculty,it makes running late for class very achievable and also returning home cumbersome especially on sunny days.

The management team of the university of Calabar are very understanding and helpful in all levels. The lecturers are also very qualified and they try their best to make the students satisfied. They inculcate in the students valuable lessons which also includes communication and leadership skills through each of their classes and lessons.

In terms of academics, it is one of the best institutes for providing academic clarity in a specific domain. The academics of the college also focuses on weak students who are unable to complete tasks on a regular basis.
The university also contributes to the provision of assistance in the professional industry environment.

I’ve had a decent time thus far. Its not a bad school neither is it a good school, its just an average school that has the potential to be so much better than it is. Nevertheless, it’s a good school which people from around the area go to. I may sound a bit biased because I’m from the area but I’d recommend it to my friends surely.

The programme is all good, but the environment and lecturers are stressful, student’s accomodation is so bad, everything is so stressful from bank payments to attending lectures. Lack of facilities is a serious downplay now.

I believe one of the cores of good education is having a conducive learning environment favorable to the Student but in UNICAL that’s not the case as the number of students in a class is inversely proportional to the space in this class; you can picture a scenario where a lecture room is filled to the brim that students sitting 2 rows away from the lecturer can’t hear him/her speak.

Dental school in UNICAL is really amazing. We have experienced professors of dentistry and dental surgery who are ready to give you all the knowledge you need, as well as skills in dental practice to enable you to become a well-rounded dentist or dental surgeon.
Learning hours are very convenient.
Classrooms, laboratories and clinics are fully equipped with top tier facilities to promote dental excellence in the students.
The school has been ranked number one in Nigeria with the best equipment for training aspiring dentists.
