i have been a student for about 3 years already and it’s a good university. i enjoy the practical classes and the learning environment is very appropriate for us. i appreciate all the effort that has been put in to make unical a great school

One of my favorite features about UNICAL is the gardens and the way it’s properly cut. Tho the mosquitoes can be torching but with the right clothes, you’re good to go. There is a very large car park for both students and lecturers. It’s really amazing for pictures too.

University of Calabar is not one of the best schools in the country but I’d argue they are good enough. The school club always excel in inter competitions. We have a body called ENACTUS we strive to better the country from our school and we’ve reached great heights and our voices have been heard. I particularly fear speaking in crowds but this school has helped me overcome that fear. The school helped a lot of us grow in different aspects

University of Calabar is an average school in terms of hospitality and learning.I’m also a student of the department of computer science, and I can say it not easy at all.waking up early going to gss classes, then going to my departmental classes.Lecturers here do take care of us.

The school boasts of a computer lab with good working systems and although the network isn’t so good, the basics of an average computer lab is provided for the students.

I am most likely to recommend my program to 6 out of 10 people I may come across.

It takes a lot of fortitude, self-control, and courage to complete the educational process at the University of Calabar. It is the sole federal university in Cross River State, and it is surrounded by lovely scenery and numerous structures. Although they are present, facilities are not the greatest. While being stern and direct, lecturers can still be supportive of their students. The school’s curricula are excellent for learning and are well-introduced. The accommodations are excellent as well.

University of Calabar is an excellent institution. But unfortunately, there was an increase in school fees and other charges which were unpleasant to students.
The lectures are well qualified. The classroom is not 100% conducive.

Although the campus is very stunning and clean, the University of Calabar is not at all a charming place. In fact, the institution is just the opposite. The professors are extremely rude and self-centred, and they lack any enthusiasm for their courses. The classrooms are cramped, and the noise level makes learning difficult. I should also mention how fantastic student life is. Everything at the school is so wrong and the management overcharges for services, I would never, ever, ever suggest anyone to them.

The standard of education here is low and very disappointing, a lot of professors show little or no concern at all towards making students understand courses, we take it on ourselves a lot of times to research things and learn. The facilities too are poor, classes are really not impactful due to the nonchelantness of the lecturers. But the environment is actually serene and fine. Accommodations are a serious letdown. The administration should really take the student’s complaints into consideration. And the institution is part of Asuu, so I’ll be spending extra years in school due to the multiple strikes that occur.
