We used to say if want to be made, come to UNIMAID. The medical training here is rigorous, relevant, and deeply empowering. It’s meant to build you into someone who stands out, no matter where you go.

The University of Maiduguri is a decent institution though it’s not well known like the others here in Nigeria. The accommodations were not really up to standard in my opinion. Student’s life there wasn’t so easy, especially as medicine and surgery student.

Medicine and surgery is very good program with great career prospects here and also with dedication, you’ll make it. The teachers here were committed to making us understand everything. I’ve got to say the environment is serene and i loved it there

This university is a good university. It is important to still note that a lot still needs to be done to improve. During my years in this institution, challenges such as nepotism, tribalism was prevalent. The university must strengthen its abllity to conduct researches both within and in collaboration with other institutions. The lecturers were good, the temperature of the city is very hot ranging from 35 to 40 degrees in the summer. Student life is very simple, but accommodation provided by the school requires improvement.
