My experience at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University has been both educational and challenging. The university provides a good academic environment with lecturers who are knowledgeable and dedicated to their work. The Computer Science programme covers a wide range of topics that build a strong theoretical foundation in computing.
However, one major challenge is the lack of practical opportunities for students to apply what they learn in real-life situations. There are limited hands-on sessions, outdated lab equipment, and few industry collaborations that could help bridge the gap between theory and practice. This makes it difficult for students to gain the technical experience needed to compete in today’s job market.
Despite this, the school still offers a peaceful learning environment and encourages discipline and hard work. With better investment in practical facilities and exposure to real-world projects, ATBU could become one of the leading universities in technology and innovation in Nigeria.

What I like about the school is that they will teach you based on what you are studying.
But the dislikes is that they have a slow calendar that means me studying a 5 years course will eventually use 7 years studying that course.
