Programme Review Summary
B.Sc/B.Ed in Education Management & Policy / Business Administration
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (2021–2024)
During my undergraduate studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, I pursued a dual-focused programme that combined Education Management and Policy with Business Administration. This unique blend equipped me with strong pedagogical insight alongside core business and administrative skills, positioning me for diverse career opportunities in both education and corporate environments.
The curriculum was robust and well-structured, covering key areas such as policy development, leadership in education, strategic management, and organizational behavior. I benefited greatly from passionate lecturers who fostered critical thinking, independent research, and real-world application of classroom knowledge.
Beyond academics, the programme enhanced my communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Practical components, including teaching practice and business simulations, provided firsthand experience and deepened my understanding of theory in action.
Overall, I would rate my academic experience an 8/10. It was a transformative journey that laid a solid foundation for my current career path as a Virtual Assistant, Copywriter, and Freelance Professional, while also preparing me for future roles in policy development and education leadership.
