My time at Adekunle Ajasin University was both academically rewarding and personally enriching. I studied Computer Science, and the programme gave me a solid foundation in core areas like programming, data structures, and systems analysis. What truly stood out was the dedication of the lecturers—they were approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in student success.

While the resources were modest, I learned to adapt, solve problems independently, and make the most of what was available. This shaped my self-discipline and resourcefulness—qualities that now serve me well in remote work and independent projects.

I especially appreciated how the programme encouraged critical thinking and practical application, rather than just theory. These skills have stayed with me and continue to guide my journey in tech and data.

There’s always room for improvement, especially in infrastructure and digital access, but overall, the experience was impactful. I would recommend the university to students who are driven, curious, and ready to grow beyond the classroom.

The school prioritize some courses over others, I’d recommend this school to others solely based on their intended course, for some courses, I’d give you a go-ahead and for some courses, it’s a no-no.

Adekunke Ajasin University is located in the western region of Nigeria, over the years, this university has consistently produced intellectual giants from the department of Law, information technology, Physics etc, who have made an impact on society. The University is blessed with visionary leaders who through their exemplary leadership have provided enabling platforms for students to study with ease. It is worth noting that truancy and unseriousness are not tolerated in the school as defaulters are given a strike and face the risk of being expelled from the school. Truly, students study with clarity of purpose in line with the vision of maintaining the standard and reputation of the university and equally making the best out of themselves for the foreseeable future.
