What I like about my program is that it deals with the lives of people which requires so many activities and energy and I prefer that than to sit in a place for a long time. Classes in my college are flexible and it starts around 8:00 am and end between 3:00-5:00 pm depending on the number of courses you are offering and we are given 1hour break. Teachers here are well qualified and most of them are PhD and master’s degree holders. Most of my teachers use their experience to teach based on what they have done before. My school is a conducive environment for learning, it has good and tight security. It has good facilities to help facilitate learning such as good WiFi, water, and electricity which are made available. What I don’t like about the school is that we don’t have much freedom. We are not allowed to go out of school except for specific reasons, curfew starts by 9:30 pm and we are not allowed to live on off-campus grounds, so it is more of a boarding school situation. The school needs to improve on reducing the cost of items purchased and I also think that the school should focus more on hostel renovations and reducing the cost of tuition.
Student life is good with social gatherings such as picnics, parties, concerts, and movie nights which are organised by the student representative council to not only focus on school work but life outside academics. I would recommend the school to people because it has the best facilities to aid learning. In my opinion, the school is international. People come from different parts of the world (such as India, Ghana, China, United Kingdom)to enrol and study.
Nursing is a very fulfilling career choice because it is well compensated when it comes to job options, work experience, further study and skills in the health sector. Although it may look stressful it is worth it in the end.
My experience in this school was good. I was able to make new friends every school year, I got to try new food and learn about different cultures.
