The University of Auckland provides a broad range of courses to broaden individual perspectives and reconnect oneself to the wider world. For example, I studied the 1st of Bcom degree at UOA. During that year, I gained deep insight into marketing, entrepreneurship, commercial law and many more subjects within the business curriculum while also being able to feed my curiosity about social topics by taking a general education paper in Language studies. This was achieved through the University’s c restructuring of the curriculum, which allows business students to be exposed to a range of majors and topics within one class. The only downside to attending the University was the lack of strategies each lecturer are equipped with or used to encourage students to engage in discussions. This leads to more passive learning and knowledge intake.
