Heavy focus on theoretical courses

This university is great in training students to become academics or researchers who want to pursue higher education due to its core focus on theory as its course format. The campus life is somewhat appealing, but needs more areas to be improved within the campus and cleaner bathrooms. There is a large focus on most of the courses being theoretical, but that has its drawbacks. This is Incredibly disadvantageous for hands-on learners, but also for getting real world experience for graduates that are looking for their first relevant career oriented job to fit into their CV. Students who are wanting a more practical focused style of courses should be attending Auckland University of Technology instead of University of Auckland. The professors can vary in quality and there are a few gems here and there in those odd courses, but it is clear that most professors within the university are not fit for teaching, and should be contributing their efforts elsewhere that indirectly affects students.
