I learn at the computer science faculty and I am not satisfied with the conditions and way of teaching the teachers. Most of the teachers are old and not in the world.
But it is the only polytechnic in the Republic of Moldova, so I did not have anywhere. I regret that the Ministry of Education influences the university. If you want to study in a polytheic, I advise you to go to the EU, because the conditions and the material are better. Thanks for your attention. A good day to all.
For two years I have been studying at the Technical University of Moldova, faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics, taking into consideration the block where I study I could say that the university is in a good state, with new equipment (but few) and qualified teachers who are always ready to help you. For Moldovan students, the university offers a fairly large number of budget places a year, which allows young people to study for free a technical specialty and become a future engineer. For foreign students the study fee is acceptable, also the university offers accommodation in student hostels at an affordable price for students. UTM has links with universities and science centers around the world, thanks to this link, students can take advantage of international mobility and coaching, which is a plus in their future career.
I am a student in the 2nd year and am satisfied with the studies that take place at the university. Near the university is a center of IT excellence that sometimes performs interesting activities, where I am attending each of it.
From the minuses that are at the university:
– Unstable graphics
– Not all rooms are equipped with performance computers
– the canteen is not provided with all the necessities
– the hostel is located nearby
– Pairs are productive
– the university has a parking lot for big enough cars
Generally, it is a good university with a strong potential, where I met many interesting people in the IT field.
The Technical University of Moldova is one of the leading universities of the Republic. In the university, there are trained cadres of leading specialities in the energy, radio engineering, communications, construction, etc. The university has excellent laboratories at each department, gyms.
Most professors have academic titles. At the university, there is an opportunity for students to engage in scientific activities. The university has a well-organized hostel for the majority of students. At the university, there are clubs for students’ rest. For me, there was one pleasure to study at this university, I recommend that everyone who wants to become technically savvy dude go to study at this university.
UTM is a nice university which provides a lot of opportunities for development. The staff is trying to give its best, even though their knowledge is limited.
The Moldovian education system is old, therefore you don’t get the last discoveries from the specific study field. Even though UTM has many disadvantages, it’s one of the best Moldova can provide, I would recommend it to anyone interested in engineering degrees.
UTM teaches old materials in the IT field, every day this world is developing and UTM all but not so fast that the technologies that appear every day.
There is too much material in the study program that takes a lot of time to study, and students fail to understand normally the field they are taught.
