The Doctorate in Administration represents one of the highest levels academic and professional training in the field of management. Honestly, at first I didn’t want to go to that university—not because I didn’t like it, but because I didn’t want to live with my parents. I wanted to study away from home. But I have to admit, I’ve loved it.
I’m studying psychology and about to start my final year. Ibero has an excellent academic level. From the very first semester, we have field trips and practical experiences, because to become a psychologist, you need to be trained with and for the community. All the professors are experts in their fields, and it’s clear they’re passionate about what they do—classes are engaging and dynamic because of that.

I also have to say that last semester I went on exchange to Salamanca, Spain, and honestly, Ibero has a much better academic program than USAL. Over there, you’re seen as just a test score, there aren’t many other evaluation criteria, and the professors don’t even know your name. You don’t really build any connection with them.

The only thing I’d say I don’t like about Ibero is that I think they should be more selective when admitting students—especially in psychology—because I don’t believe everyone is cut out to be a psychologist or to serve the community. Not everyone has the right intentions or the right profile for it.

I really like the program, that’s what made me join this university. It has a great environment for all the students. Classes are well planed, its a mix of theoretical and practical learning. Food is good and has lots of green areas to relax in your free time.

I spent 5 years studying at Ibero, and they propably where the most significant 5 years of my life.
I studied psychology, and learned even more about myself in the process. Our program allowed us to experience real hands-on practical knowledge from the first semesters, and this proved to be a huge advantage when regarding other programs in the region.

As far as teachers go, I can confidently state that I had some of the best psychologyst, lecturers, researchers and staff in the country imparting their highly specialized and actualized experience. Some, became long time friends.

As far as facilites go, Ibero is a big campus, yet it feels welcoming, filled with recreational spaces, restaurants, cultural and sporting activities. During my tenure, it was rather frequent that I had to spend over 12hrs on campus due to my classwork (it was no joke), but between the library, the beatiful gardens, and spacious study halls, I felt right at home.
