I studied international business at the Economic and Administrative Sciences Center of the University of Guadalajara.
I believe that my career is fairly universal, and you will learn however much you are willing to, it doesn’t have the world’s best teachers but you can tell they know about the subjects they are teaching about, also they have greats programs for studying abroad (intercambio). I would recommend this University, but also that you keep studying since the career has a pretty broad spectrum of classes and knowledge you can acquire.

The Universidad has 5 complexes. Everyone for different studies. Has a lot of prepared teachers from all over the world. They have a lot of careers and scholarships. I have seen Koreans, Russians, French, Japanese and other foreigners in the University.

I stayed here for only one semester and out of 6 classes onyl 3 were good/acceptable, the rest were really bad, either the professor never showed or we will get the substitute professor.
Beside this the university i really big, has a lot of centers of investigations, libraries, even own its own country club, museums and concert centers
The students are great, smart, and lots of parties going close to the campus.
I really recommend this University although some classes might be bad

I’m not sure enough. But i’ll name some relevant facts:
I’m studying at CUCEA, which it’s a campus for economics, administrative and financial studies. About this i must to say All the infrastructure are awesome, nice library, parking lot, the classrooms are good enough, there are lots of green areas, also as student you have lots of benefits such as a transportation discounts, books in borrow and the most relevant thing its because this university its a public institution it has a reachable tuition.
About the whole organization, Perhaps, the strongest knowledge areas of this school are the administrative studies, law school and medical career.
Also this school have cultural concerns and leads many cultural activities, although not enough to satisfy the whole society demands where there is tough for artists find success.
Humbly i think, this school lacks the capacity to renew itself according to the needs of the present times and the near future, they need to left elitism and bluff behind and become a relevant reference of the society. Every admittance test each six months periods only a ridiculous scarce percent of applicants are accepted, but you will find that the filters or criteria for candidates selection may look as a jest when you find the laziest, feckless and brainless students studying in there. It can’t be the best school if doesn’t have the best students and young people with potential.

This institution have parallel business and receives vasty resources but the main problem still remaining through the decades, many students are rejected without a chance and bordered to pay for a substandard school, to then keep the whole profitable business circuit running, the education business keeps alive and rentable.

And if i have another complain, just have to mention, i had the impression that the teachers arent compromissed with the teaching job, some of them are part time teacher, so looks like they really dont care if the students are acquiring knowledge or not, so if someone want to enroll into it, i recommend to be self-taught.
And that’s it. Hope this opinion makes you investigate deeply about to made a consciousness decision.

This university is second in relevance in Mexico, only after the UNAM; the academic level is also very important; the only thing to be improved is the scientific research (which is good but is not enought in some topics, i.e. Physics, Mathematics, etc.). But if you can study here, is really a good choice. One of the top universities in Mexico.

It is a great option to study in when you’re looking for a high-rated university, with a lot of specialized lecturers, many of them with post-graduate degrees.

When you choose UDG you also have to choose a center. There is a center for each group of similar majors, such as Medical Sciences (CUCS – Centro Universitario de Ciencias de la Salud), Social Sciences (CUCSH – Centro Universitario de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades) , Exact Sciences (CUCEI – Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías), etc. All these centers are within the metropolitan zone of Guadalajara.
Besides these specialized centers, there are regional centers all around the state where you can study one of the most demanded majors (i. e. Computer Science Engineering, Administration, Medicine, International Business).

If you’re planning to study a semester aboard as an income student in UDG, there might be a problem if you don’t speak Spanish. UDG should offer lectures in English so more students can come easily. However, it offers Spanish courses that could help you if you already have the basis.

I highly recommend it.

The University of Guadalajara has a variety of careers that although it has many options, these can be very similar between them. Campuses are divided into areas that are located throughout the city. It is economical and the level of teachers can vary greatly in the areas of study.
