A good school of engineering

I studied here the career of Computer Systems Engineering, and I can say that the school is one of the best in the region (speaking about of careers in engineering).

It has a strong teaching force, with teachers well formed in their fields of study, available always to help their students to reach their goals.
The school promotes a lot of cultural and academical activities, like contests in basic sciences (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry), programming (ACM Contests), folk dance, painting, classical and modern music concerts, sports contests, prototype contests, etcetera. It is interesting the program of academic exchange related to professional practices because the students can do their practices in the country they want in any of the prestigious research centers that the world have, and earn more experience for their future jobs.

Also, some teachers promote activities in their students to create a social conscience, doing activities like cleaning the beach or the lagoons in the city, or planting trees.

About my career, I can say that there are a lot of teachers well formed in the field of computer systems. Some of them have the Ph. D. degree and they are registered in the SNI of CONACyT (with SNI levels I and II).

Others have experience in the software development industry and they share their experiences with their students: the good practices of programming, how to develop a system, the software lifecycle, management, what kinds of programming languages to use to develop a software according to the requirements of the client, how to make a good deal with the company and the client/employee (speaking about salary and perks and benefits), etcetera.

The school has postgraduate programs (master and doctor degrees) in Computer Sciences, Electricity, Management, Chemistry, Mechanics, etcetera. All of them recognized and supported with scholarships by CONACyT.

But, the school is perfect at all? No. When I graduated from school, there were still administrative problems (labor union) and problems with the enrollment processes of students, but there are a lot of good things that make the school a good option to study in it.
