My time at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) has been somewhat challenging. While the campus boasts a diverse student body, the educational experience has been inconsistent. Some faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, but others lack enthusiasm and effective teaching methods. The curriculum, while emphasizing moral values, sometimes feels outdated and disconnected from current industry trends. Facilities like libraries and laboratories are adequate but often overcrowded, making it difficult to access resources during peak times. Moreover, administrative processes can be slow and bureaucratic, causing frustration among students. The campus environment, though peaceful, lacks vibrant social activities and cultural events, limiting opportunities for students to engage outside of academics.

Studying at IIUM has been a great experience! The campus is beautiful, with state-of-the-art facilities like hostels, cafes, ATMs, bookstores, and a massive library. The residential colleges are self-contained and offer a range of services and activities. The campus is surrounded by green hills and is a peaceful environment for learning. The student body is diverse, with students from over 100 countries, providing a unique opportunity to learn about different cultures and perspectives. The university emphasizes academic excellence, freedom, and character development, which is reflected in the many extracurricular activities available. The university encourages productive and constructive leisure activities, with a range of sports and recreational facilities available. The university also ensures that students are trained to be responsible and imbued with good ethics, high moral values, and professionalism.
