I recently finished my 5th year from UKIM, and I found the academic curriculum to be thorough and well structured, giving a solid foundation in my field. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, making learning engaging and supportive. My only suggestion would be to include more practical exercises and internship opportunities to better prepare students for real world work.

View moreDuring my studies at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM) at the Institute for Social Work and Social Policy, I learned a lot about human rights, sustainable development, and the challenges social systems face. Through classes, cultural exchanges, training, and discussions, I got a better understanding of how social policies help create fair societies.
The university gave me a strong base of knowledge and also encouraged hands-on learning through research projects, fieldwork, and working with professionals. I especially appreciated how the university focused on active citizenship, social justice, and involving communities in making change. This helped me see how people and institutions can work together for social and economic development.
Studying at UKIM motivated me to come up with new ideas for improving democracy, protecting equal rights, and making positive changes in society. I’m thankful for the experience and the chance to work with dedicated professors and classmates who all wanted to make a difference.
View moreMy experience studying at this university was okay. Some teachers are very helpful and present, others you can barely find on campus and the assistants end up doing all of their work for them. As for the students and the student life, I think its the best you could possibly find. They are all super nice, everyone helps everyone and they instantly become your close friends.
View moreThe University experience was very good overall, considering the country has limited financial resources. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering provided me with very good resilience, logical thinking and problem-solving skills that I easily now implement in my career. The programs were limited and not up to date with advanced tech knowledge. Student projects were not common, therefore the level of knowledge gained could have been better.
The University has many student organizations which provide opportunities for students to go to international workshops, exchange programs, and internships, and that is a very good benefit overall that adds to the traditional learning.
