The best, highest quality and most renowned university in the country. A university that offers multiple student programs. Professors are quality academics who have vast knowledge in their field and use world literature in the transfer of knowledge. UKIM cooperates with student organizations, as well as with international organizations and various other collaborations. Through them, the doors are opened for the students after graduation.

It’s the best university in Macedonia, but I would not recommend it, especially if you can afford studies in another country. Our faculty do not have a building and faculties with very few students got their own building.

I study computer science at the Faculty of computer science and engineering. The best thing about this faculty for me are the professors who have a lot of experience and knowledge. Some of the courses are a bit outdated, but they teach you the basics that will need in order to learn how to work in the more modern programming languages. We have a lot of students, so the professors can’t focus a lot on every individual student, but you will always have student colleagues that will be there to help you and guide you through your student life

On the Faculty I study on, I have been very satisfied with the knowledge of the teaching staff and the way they deliver during classes. They are also always willing to help the students if they come across any challenges and they are overall very friendly and nice. The organization is, however, not very good. The semester and exam schedules are most of the time published in the last minute.

This university is pretty well organized, it has a lot of fields to choose from, a lot of student organizations are active and there are a lot of students, it’s one the biggest university in my country. However they should work on renewing the programs in each college, because some of them are kind of old.

Student quality life has to be improved.
The courses at the Faculties should be always always up to date with the latest trends in the industry (mostly related for the IT faculties).
More practical education and exercises instead of tons of theoretical stuff.
Less birocracy and more friendly staff when comunicating with students/

The university isn’t well organized but it has many diverse majors from which you can choose. However even though they have many majors they should present them better to highschoolers to attract more students.

I think that the program is nicely put together, however, I don’t like the organization at all. You get the schedule with exam date a few days before they start like its so hard to put a schedule up front. There is always some intersection between the times of exams in two subjects so you have to choose which one will you take which is not fair.

This is a university with a lot of opportunities. They have a lot of programs in different fields and they are adapting it every year regarding the technologies that are the most used and famous. I also want to mention that the faculties are collaboration with NGO’s which means they support the students to reach their full potential.

I currently study at the Faculty of Computer Science and Education and I think that several subjects regarding the studies are irrelevant to the fields of study (at least in my Faculty). Also some professors aren’t qualified for the job and need more education about teaching and helping students. Activities are low, and from what I know much of the activities are organized by their respected student parlaments. Also I think that there should be more libraries and places where students can exercise and study. Organization is low-level, we recieve exam time a day before the exam and we wait for exam results for at least a month. The fact that the faculty does not have It’s own building is a problem for itself considering that It is the biggest Faculty in the University. I really hope they are aware of these problems and they will work on solving them because computer science is really great and will always be trendy and one of the most required fields.
